Black Health and Beyond: Black Women in Menopause - Black Health and Beyond is an organisation that is committed to impacting and empowering the lives of Black people, with a specialist interest in menopause. They champion inclusivity within menopause, providing advice and information for Black women, non binary and gender non-conforming people, raising awareness of Black peoples’ menopausal experiences. Sister 2 Sister B U - Founded by Marcia Jones, Sister 2 Sister BU offers a safe space for women that is true to their tagline; inspiring wellbeing, confidence and self esteem. They host regular events like menopause support groups, a Saturday morning breakfast club and wellbeing seminars that bring women together and give real support through community and connection.
The Menopause Charity - The Menopause Charity’s aim is to educate the public so that perimenopause and menopause are properly understood. British Menopause Society - BMS is a specialist authority for menopause and reproductive health in the UK. Their website has tons of resources, including where to find your nearest recognised menopause specialist - a healthcare professional with special menopause certification.
Queer Menopause - Queer Menopause was founded by Tania Glyde, a psychotherapist working in London. She founded queer menopause in the efforts to raise awareness of LGBTQIA+ experiences of menopause. They have a list of inclusive resources on their website that continues to be updated.
